Josephine is a great friend of Rwanda since
2003 when she began visiting the country, in view to carry
out research in preparation for her thesis project ‘spatial
requirements in genocide memorials’ at the University
of Nairobi, Kenya. Both her written thesis and design project
scored A grade. She graduated in October 2005 with a Bachelor
of Architecture degree Second Class Honours, Upper Division.
And returned to work and live in Rwanda.
She is a member of the Architectural Association of Kenya
(AAK) since 2003 as well as a registered Architect under BORAQS-(Board
of Registration of Architects and Quantity Surveyors) Kenya
since 2008

Prior to her appointment, Josephine
served as the Head of Department, CREATIVE DESIGN (appointed
November 2009) as well as Assistant Lecturer, ARCHITECTURE department
(since May 2009)
Josephine is goal-oriented, highly motivated and gifted Architect
as attested by her academic prowess, professional qualifications
and practice testimonials. She has kept an excellent rapport
in Architectural practice in Rwanda, Burundi and Kenya. Her
key design ideas are informed by need for sustainable, environment-friendly
architecture; Green buildings. Designing and building for tomorrow
today.
